Nyla’s Retreat & Dog Rescue Inc. is a registered nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of New York. Our mission is to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for dogs in need, particularly those coming from shelters, abusive environments, or surrendered by owners.
1. Tax-Exempt Status
Nyla’s Retreat & Dog Rescue Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions to Nyla’s Retreat & Dog Rescue Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

2. Use of Donations
All donations received by the organization are used solely to support our mission. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Medical care for animals (surgeries, vaccinations, medications)
- Food and supplies
- Transportation and housing
- Training and behavioral support
- Administrative costs necessary to operate the organization
3. Financial Accountability
We are committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of funds. We maintain accurate financial records and submit annual reports to the appropriate government authorities, including the New York State Office of the Attorney General Charities Bureau.
4. Public Inspection
As required by law, our IRS Form 990 and other registration documents are available for public inspection upon request.
